Embarkation Dining

Does anyone know what restaurants are available for dining on embarkation day? I know the buffet is open, but are there any other options?

Thanks!

Pre-COVID, most people went to the Windjammer, however, post-COVID, who knows.....

This will now depend on the rules (buffet) and of course the ship.

Luminae is open for lunch for Suite guests. Buffet and Capt Club concierge class in the MDR. Also the pool side cafe (hamburgers, hotdogs fries).

Agreed...great minds etc...we ALWAYS do a specialty on embarkation day for dinner. and avoid Jurassic Park at all costs...used to go there waaay back in the day...and watch folks pile in...like they were going to miss all that "free" food....sometimes some specialty restaurants are open for lunch, and free, with a limited menu. Check the dailies when you board...theres copies all over...or go to Guest Services.

You could check and see if there is a FB page for your sailing. Someone on there might know.

I don't know about Celebrity, but on the others we have been on, all the venues have been open. The MDR is usually open seating regardless if one is traditional or anytime. We usually shun the MDR on opening nights, and pick something else.

I'm not sure about Celebrity Cruises, but other cruise lines has the main dining rooms open on Embarkation day. You may also be able to go to a specialty dining restaurant.

They may have one of the MDRs open, but I am not sure.

Then again, the Celebrity buffet is pretty good.

They will probably have the coffee shop open (extra charge) or pool-side food stands (no extra charge), but the buffet is a lot better.

We are assuming that you are asking about lunch.

For dinner, all the restaurants and food stands would be open.

I wish I could help, but we haven't sailed on Celebrity...yet.

Just gonna respond so that zero gets off the thread.
