You can have the mini bar removed if you would like to have use of the refrigerator.
This is a friendly town with an iconic history. The town is supported by the National Park Service so the older buildings and parks are clean and well maintained. The only negative is that the crowds of other ships over runs this tiny town.
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
This port is run by the Native American Tribe and town folk that makes the experience welcoming and friendly. It has beautiful areas and it is a great place to view nature. It is a great stop, but the down side will be that they are adding another dock. The size of the center is limited so the crowds of two ships at once will really make it unpleasant.
Excursions here are pricey. It is an interesting port but is overrun by jewelry stores.
Juneau is a nice port, but the excursions are expensive and it is usually crowded with other ship's passengers. It is unfortunate the most of the main street is lined with jewelry stores and other shops that are promoted during the ships discussion of the port.
Seward (Anchorage), Alaska
The was the site of embarkation but we did not use Celebrity to plan our activities, but this is a great town to visit and spend time in. The Sea Life Center is fantastic.
