Carnival - Never again!

In response to review, sheilaE95 says ...

As with anything you are the party. I‚ can't understand going on vacation and not having fun, but judging by the way you so rudely called the other passengers low class I'd be willing to bet that most things are no fun for you. Sorry you had a bad experience and was 'harassed' by other guests but you get back what you put out.

I think the T Shirt has more to do with the rant than the change in ship. As long as I have a cabin equal to what i reserved or better, the T Shirt will be credited or they will need to ship to my home address.

That's generous! I'm still trying to get past how they were unaware the ship had been changed....

Sorry you had ships changed on you. ‚ It was notified by Carnival of the change of ships. ‚ There were even some post here of ship being changed. ‚ The Victory is an older ship that has not had all of the 2.0 upgrades. ‚

‚

I have been on the Victory and had a great cruise but I did not spend all of my vacation looking for things to complain about. ‚ I found the Victory to be very clean and had great staff for cabin, MDR, Bar and Lido. ‚ Entertainment was good in the show room or the comedy club. ‚ I did not look down on other passengers and call them low class. ‚

‚

Cruising is not for everybody, ‚ maybe you'd do better with a land vacation where you can go to the Four Seasons and‚ be around others of your class.

Uhhh, Would that be the part he boarded Victory?

It would be disappointing to have the ship changed if you had booked the cruise because of a particular ship, but changes can be made for whatever reason, according to your cruise contract (which everyone signs before completing their booking). It seems to me that the Liberty and Victory were changed with each other recently because of some problems aboard the Liberty - propulsion or something. I'm very surprised that Carnival or your travel agent didn't notify you of the change, but sometimes things fall through the cracks in the system.

As for the other issues, did you show your steward or anyone the cloth napkins that were stained or had holes in them? Some people enjoy different types of entertainment from others, and it seems that cruise ship shows and games are just not for you. There are so many other things to do on a ship, including relaxing in a quiet area and reading or enjoying the tranquility of the Serenity deck instead of watching the hairy chest contest that you didn't enjoy. Yes the CD makes announcements about jewellery sales etc., because many people appreciate those announcement. Not all 1500-2000 guests will be pleased with everything, but most do and that's why the ships are full all the time.

Cruising isn't for everyone, but those of us who love it, and who enjoy Carnival, will continue to cruise and look at all of the positive aspects of cruising, instead of focusing on the few negative things.

I do like the part where you are claiming the passengers are lower class because the ship is lower class. You were on the same ship with the passengers you are calling lower class meaning you are just as lower class as they are.

I believe perhaps 2% of this rant.

Which part of the review, A. getting on wrong ship or B. room service sandwich memorable.

Well this is interesting.......

Not sure, sorry. fat fingers , best excuse. Happy Holidays..
