September 2022 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Disney Fantasy
Another Winner on The Fantasy!
We sailed during hurricane Ian, and were very fortunate to have beautiful weather, lots of sun, and no issues. Thankfully, the airport opened up the night before and we were able to get out of Orlando quickly. We felt very fortunate to be able to go on the cruise after having had canceled it three times because of Covid and it was well worth our wait. We love cruising Disney and hope to do it again soon soon.

Our Grandslam Cruise on the Fantasy!
This was our grandslam cruise with Disney having been on all the ships. We still call the Wonder our home ship but the Fantasy is larger, has more amenities, and 10/10 customer service. Every staff member that makes eye contact greets you, the entertainment director walked around after shows meeting people, the characters randomly walk around the ship making for fun, impromptu meets, and the food was very good. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
February 2019 - 4 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on Disney Magic
We stayed a little more forward than usual but we really liked 2508. Our room host was excellent and our room was very clean. The new Rapunzel’s Royal Table is a great restaurant with fun, raucous entertainment but is a little loud. Lumiere’s and Animators Palatte are also good but are nearly identical to Tritons and AP on the Wonder. Palo again is identical but as always is a wonderful meal.
We liked the 3 port/4 night itinerary as we got to see a lot but we kept super busy. We missed having a sea day to be lazy on. Luckily the weather on our Castaway Cay day was perfect and we had plenty of time to chill.

December 2017 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Disney Wonder
We just had another great cruise on the Disney Wonder in the Western Caribbean. The food quality was excellent and our steward Darcy and our servers Yayan and Rallie were great. The Wonder is our favorite Disney ship and we’ll be back soon!

Another Winner on The Fantasy!

Cruise tips
Sadly, our excursion took a bit longer than we had anticipated so we did not have as much time to visit downtown. I will say, if you are a shopper almost all the high-end shops are represented there.
Old San Juan is absolutely beautiful and steeped in history. It is very walkable if you are up for it and we felt safe in all of the areas we visited. The forts are a must see IMO.

Slow down and take in the details! Play midship detective even if you don’t have kids with you 😃
Did the Skyliner and a walking tour. Felt safe throughout and enjoyed a lot of the town.
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Our excursion to the Baths was cancelled due to high winds. We were gutted but did a walking tour and found some cool cultural things to enjoy. Also did some watch shopping and found the dealers eager to discount!
Plenty of things to do and see in Nassau. When we visited in 2013, we only did shopping and ate downtown. Based on that visit I would have only given Nassau 3 stars. However, this trip we ventured out and did the Junkanoo museum, forts, Queen's stair, and then after the excursion walked to Watling's Distillery. We saw a lot of stray dogs that we steered clear of but otherwise didn't have any issues as far as safety is concerned.
We enjoyed the immediate port area but due to the weather we didn't get to go to South Beach or do much shopping. Still the mall near the port hotels was nice and had plenty of good food and drink options. Wish we had more time but maybe next time.
Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)
Always beautiful and clean.
Walked around Key West and saw a TON. It is such a beautiful town that we'd love to spend a full week there. The architecture, colors, foods, and drinks are all amazing as is the history. We liked Hemingway's house and the Little White House tours. Cuban coffee and frozen key lime pie were delicious!
Disney Magic
Get room service at least one day at sea. It's a great way to start a day of relaxing. When we go out to breakfast, we tend to skip the buffet and go for either Daisy's Delites or at a sit down breakfast.
We got off the Dis Magic early, hit the Southernmost point, got Cuban coffees, explored neighborhoods, did Hemingway’s house, ate at Sloppy Joe’s, did the Little White House, and finally hit Duval street. We loved the history, architecture, chickens, and the Cathedral Basilica. We ended up walking about 9 miles but we were able to see a lot. Highly recommend it!
