We sailed during hurricane Ian, and were very fortunate to have beautiful weather, lots of sun, and no issues. Thankfully, the airport opened up the night before and we were able to get out of Orlando quickly. We felt very fortunate to be able to go on the cruise after having had canceled it three times because of Covid and it was well worth our wait. We love cruising Disney and hope to do it again soon soon.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Disney had made a mistake when entering my birthday so I did take us a bit longer to get through the check-in at the port. The Disney personnel at port Canaveral were very professional and helpful and thankfully were able to remedy the issue fairly quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Familiar favorites in the rotational dining plus our heads server treated us to some nice meal additions throughout the cruise, including an entire plate of grilled shrimp for my daughter. Food at Remi brunch was fantastic and we had no issues with our rotational dining meals.
We did a note that the quality at Cabanas was very hit or miss.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
They added an open house to all the kids clubs every day, which seems like a good idea, but in reality takes away a lot of activities from the kids, and makes those areas very crowded. We did notice a lack of onboard activities compared to our cruise on the fantasy back in 2019. We really do miss the paper navigators because the app, as good as it is still creates a margin of error when trying to catch your favorite activities.

My daughter really did enjoy the Edge but frequently complained about how small the area is and how crowded it was. However, she did make some very nice friends and they had a good time. Again because there was an open house every day there was at least an hour and a half in the afternoon every day that there were no activities for the kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was very nice and polite, and went to great lengths to include a lot of towel animals to incorporate items into them. Our wait staff was also excellent, especially our head server.

Ship tip
Slow down and take in the details! Play midship detective even if you don’t have kids with you 😃
Old San Juan is absolutely beautiful and steeped in history. It is very walkable if you are up for it and we felt safe in all of the areas we visited. The forts are a must see IMO.
Sadly, our excursion took a bit longer than we had anticipated so we did not have as much time to visit downtown. I will say, if you are a shopper almost all the high-end shops are represented there.
We did express walk off and we able to eat breakfast and we were off the ship very quickly with no stress and no lines. It was probably our best debarkation yet.
