Adventure of the Seas

A good Cruise

We had sailed on a previous Royal Carribean Ship and were not impressed, the Adventure of the Sea redeemed the Royal Carribean Line. The Crew absolutely made the trip. They were friendly and helpful and happy. The food was just so-so but our waiter and assistant made it good. The cleanliness of the ship was poor and not really addressed even after the complaint.

Family Cruise

We were looking forward to this trip. We have been on several cruises and this was a disappointment. There were 3,000+ passengers with 890 of them minors. We also had children, but the majority of the children were out-of-control. Security was no where to be found and numerous passengers commented on the unruly children. The ship is very pretty but the lay-out was poor.

A Relaxing Journey

This was the first time cruising on the Millennium, but not the first with Celebrity. The ship is showing some wear and tear but still a nice voyage. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They tried to please everyone each day. The ports were nice and this was a peaceful trip. There were plenty of activities for every age. I would recommend this ship. You don't get to pick you traveling mates but this being an older crowd, there was alot of complaining people. They really did not have much to complain about they just thought they did. The only complaint I had was disembarkation was disorganized.

A Wonderful Cruise

The Solstice is a beautiful ship with wonderful personnel to help make your vacation pleasant. The guest relations desk was so helpful and friendly, she went above and beyond to ensure we had good time.

Cruise tips

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

Unfortunately, we were on the "east" side and not much to see concerning beaches. The Zip-lining over the rain forest was a popular tour and heard good comments.

Cadiz (Seville), Spain

We enjoyed walking and discovering Cadiz. It is very clean and you can get around easily. Beautiful Church after Church lovely town.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We wanted to travel to a "good" beach, this didn't happen. The beach was dirty and tons of people trying to sell you "anything and everything". Not a good stop.

Malaga, Spain

You could spend days here, everything is interesting. Tours are good and the town is beautiful.

Lanzarote, Canary Islands

We took the Camel tour, it was fine but the real secret is the National Park. It is very pretty and the Camel was just a fun experience.

Colon, Panama

The Panama Canal, this is a great wonder. There are several tours to choose and nobody was complaining about any of them.
