The ship was clean, crew was very friendly, food was great, entertainment was first class, exception was Journey South's second appearance.

The ship was very clean but dated and this is recognized by them as it is scheduled for remodeling. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our dining room steward was excellent. The evening meal in the dining room was the best we have had for taste and variety. The stops were great and the Panama Canal crossing was great with the open bow decks, the early morning treats out there so you didn't have to go inside, and the live narration during the transit was very interesting.

The cruise was fantastic. We would like to have stayed longer in Costa Rica so we could do more of the excursions. Going through the Panama Canal on the ferry excursion would definitely be better than taking the ship completely through. You learn more and get to see a lot more. The food provided was also way more than adequate. They also provided all the water and soda you wanted. Best cruise we've been on so far.

We pay the extra to be in a suite and expect our experience to be the best it can be. We had to keep asking our stewards for ice, or sodas. Stewards weren't around as much as our other cruises. The upkeep on the ship wasn't up to par. Fitness equipment was broken. Ship looked shabby in areas. The crew in general didn't seem happy, making the atmosphere not as much fun.

My overall impression was excellent. Ship was comfortable and the staff very attentive.

The ship was very clean and the service was fantastic. I have to sleep on a wedge because of Barrett's Esophagus and the room steward found a wedge for me and installed it.

Good cruise for the price

The ship was old, but most of the rooms and common areas were very well maintained. The rooms were never refurbished and had some issues, but not anything that was a show-stopper. Overall it was a nice looking ship with many venues to choose from.

The cruise director was fantastic. Always available and always doing/planning stuff. Some acts were great, like the comedien and imitator. The song and dance stuff is a little much two or three times on a ten day cruise.

Great experience. Great people working in all different departments.

Ship was spacious and nice. Staff were excellent, service was outstanding.

Nice not having music piped everywhere onboard like we have experienced on other ships. Does need some TLC, but overall other than several public restrooms out of order at various times an enjoyable trip. Wish all cruise lines would take into consideration non-smokers vs smokers and make one side of ship nonsmoking-including the balconies. We had smokers fore of us and between the cigarettes and cigar smoke could not use our balcony half the time for the smoke engulfing us when we tried to go out and enjoy what we paid for.

We cruised on the Zuiderdam in November 2004 when the ship was much newer. It is still nice and I enjoyed the in-depth optional tour very much, but newer ships are nicer.

Loved the ship. Everything was very nice. Cant wait to do this cruise again with my daughter, son-in-law and grandaughter.

The Staff was not very helpful seemed disorganized

It was a wonderful experience for all three generations of our family..beautiful scenery and lots of opportunity to follow the interests of each.

We were not disappointed with our cruise to Alaska. The ship was beautiful and tge staff was top notch. The intertainment was so professional and the comedian was our favorite. He made us laugh at ourselves until we hurt!

My first time and we enjoyed it.
