My 2nd Holland cruise
Zuiderdam Cruise Review
Review summary
Some of our favourite things about this cruise was the service, food, weather, were amazing. The aft pool was 85° and the midship pool was 76° hot tubs were generally between 102 and 104°. And there is a co-Ed sauna located midship on the ninth floor and it was the nicest sauna that I’ve ever experienced on any of my cruises!Embarkation

Food and Dining
The Dining Room
We ate at the MDR for about 7 out of our 14 days on board. Food was very good usually it was served hot enough. My only complaint was I found the service was slow. Example for the two of us it would still take almost 2 hours to complete your meal
24-Hour In-Room Dining
We ordered room service A few times for breakfast and one time for lunch. One breakfast we ordered a full complete hot breakfast and it was awesome
Lido Market
The lido market food never disappointed us. Always fantastic. It was so good that my parents that were travelling with us only dinned at the MDR once within the 14 days (back-to-back cruise)
Dive-In
I tried the hamburger, chicken sandwich, hotdog and french fries here. All were very good.
Onboard Activities
Aft Pool
The aft Seaview pool was a nice size pool. It was heated approximately 85°. There was no stairs you had to use two ladders. Our only concern was that the pool wasn’t clean often enough and a lot of algae would form on the stairs which caused it to become a slip hazard. And unfortunately after complaining on multiple occasions to multiple different staff members and guest services nothing was ever done about it. Very disappointing
Entertainment
World Stage
We enjoyed the step one dancers. I believe they performed three times. And they also had Chris bannister perform guitarist. And he was fantastic
