We picked this cruise primarily for the ports of call. Holland America will not be on our top 3 when looking for our next cruise for sure.

While the restaurant service and the staff were very good, the food we pre-ordered each night was not the same. One or more of the dishes were changed each night and some of the condiments were not served. Also the food was not flavorful.

The shows were just ok. Since it was Christmas onboard there should have been Christmas themed show(s) not just a ballet type show.

Look at other cruises if you have children especailly teens
We have cruised Holland America twice and would only cruise them again if it was an itinerary that we could not find on another line. Nothing was terrible, but the food, entertainment and onboard activities were lacking compared to Royal Caribbean, Carnival and NCL.
