our 1st journey with holland america line- compared to the other cruises a nice experience-the staff was very friendly and helpfull -the stays in port a bit short- but perhaps that was due to a medical ER- evacuation that cut out some sometime-overall a great time- hallways could be more distinct on each floor-theme or picture wise- for easier orientation, the food was great and served fresh, nice and presented very tempting, there was plenty of things to do and easy find a quiet corner. all of the crew and staff do go of there way make it a great cruise-will choose this cruise line again!

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
well maintained and clean ,-the cabin hallways could be a bit more individuel (like ea. floor to have a theme and more distinct) pools nice -hot tubs clean 1 was a bit to cool
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
1088 was EXTREMLE loud did not sleep the 1st 2 nights but was moved to a quiet cabin -the service staff came and inspected the extreme noice level and relized where it came from&how difficult it was to get sleep - problem solved and the rest was smooth sailing- the 1 st cabin itself was very nice it was the location
Ship tip
don,t expect the most modern ship but the staff and the atmosphaere makes up for that and gives it a flair of its own -
do make it to the photo gallery early enough to get your pics - they close and pack up and your pics are shredded- no getting them later!!!
we missed the picnic on the beach , wonderfull colour of the water- must see !
plenty of space to get away from the growd if you choose to -1/2 moon cay is great gateway to look forward to the other stops,-sting ray excursion nice
this port is my favorite(2nd visit) time stood still here and the port itself is so wonderfull - so many animals and many free rooming or flying we never made it out of the port- it was so nice taxi drivers a very agressive here
we enjoyed the indian village --even so very touristy- beautifull artwork -fun eating the fresh cooked food out of the hand made banana leave bowls- wander away from the growd to get more of the local experience very nice drive back to the ship
monekys sloth and ziplining- have fun- we did the stop was just tooooo short- even so we managed to get on a combo tour of ziplining and the canal tour( not offered thru the ship) we had plenty time for the 2( nature tours greenway) -the cruise ships should book this with them- as it was run very organized on time pick up at port - drive back fun stops of the beaten path roadside stalls -it gives you a tease of costa rica (been 3 times)
