Review summary

The ship itself is nice. It is beautifully decorated and very tastefull. The art is exceptional and the sculptures around the ship were nice. Common areas were clean and well kept.

Tour of countryside was complete waste of time. We were there on a Sunday so stores not open long. Nice town to walk in.

Our tour was cancelled due to the railroad tracks being washed away by the rain. We visited the shopping sheds on the pier. It was fun and different.

We enjoyed the dome car experience. Drive back was long, but worth it. The port was nice with the shops and entertainment in a covered building at the pier. It was a fun place.

We got in late to the port, but it was nice. We were able to swim and then enjoy the barbeque. The lines were crowded and you have to ride in a open truck to get there.

Pros: Ship was nice; stateroom was roomy and adequate

Cons: Service personnel using passenger elevators; not enough ship activities; food was average at best

Recommends Zuiderdam? Yes!
