Very nice cruise -- but limited food

Sail Date: December 15, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

We loved Sunday football in the Sports Bar with widescreen TVs. I cannot belive that this ship was built in 2002 because it seemed very run down and dinged up, unlike any other ship I have been on. Several times the bathrooms were out of soap and towels! Most automatic antibacterial dispensers were not working, and crew members had to manually squirt the goo into your hands for you. Very few phones in the public areas, so it was tough to find one to call back to the cabin to see what the rest of the party was up to.

Pros: Comedian, magician, ports, balcony cabin, lattes, and football

Cons: Lido always seemed shut down when we needed food

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Super snorkling with clear calm waters, loads of fish, and rum punch for after
Don't Miss: Make sure you get a VIP discount card from HAL Shopping Ambassador
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Loved the 4 wheel drive tour of the island and Josiah's beach. Did not seem to be much else to do on land so we went right back to the ship.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
I was amazed at the powdery sand, clear water, fish, and very comfy clamshell shades beach chairs. Good BBQ lunch.
Don't Miss: Rent a clamshell shade and avoid the pounding sun

Grand Turk Island
Great snorkeling excursion with fish and coral and friendly crew. Excellent brand new Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville shop/restaurant where we got a margarita TO GO because ship was leaving.
