Review summary
This was our second Holland America cruise and the overall experience was positive. I believe the port visits were too short but with the bad weather and fog they crew did a great job. The captain gave very informative announcements but unless you like to drink at a bar, there wasn't much to do when we were not in port.Embarkation

Lido buffet was excellent. The main dining room was ok but not worth the time.
Onboard Activities
unless you like the pool, there wasn't much to do. We read a lot sitting in the library
Entertainment
I'm being generous here, the entertainment was poor, specially the shows at the theatre. The cigarette smell by the casino was overwhelming
Service and Staff
Here they excel. Everyone was very helpful and I want to specially mention Didi, our cabin person. He is very good
Ship Quality
it's a small ship and everything was close by and clean, except for the smell out of the casino
Cabin / Stateroom
it worked well for 3 adults
Ship tip
It is a small ship, so if you are looking for great shows, this is not it. Otherwise there were never large crowds anywhere
