Overall, the cruise was amazing and would definitely sell with Holland America again. The Westerdam is not a super fancy ship, but in my opinion, that’s not the most important feature. The service the amenities were all perfect.

I liked the idea of having a set time sit down meal at dinner, and the Lido for breakfast & lunch at our leisure with lots of choices

The fitness center, pools and spa were all inviting but we seemed too busy to use them which is not a bad thing. Using the stairs getting to different levels was a great workout in itself.

Our room stewards AJI & ERWAN were fantastic in every way!! Efficient, always there when needing anything & super impressed they remembered everyone’s name & ALWAYS smiling & happy!!
Our waiters for dinner RODERICK & YHUDI were outstanding!! Personable, funny, kind & attentive! I honestly don’t know how they do it! Going to miss the whole staff!

I thought my bed at home was comfortable until I slept in this bed and the pillows also did not make my neck hurt like home. Not sure what the secret is but super comfy and roomy. So glad we picked a room with a veranda, especially to Alaska so nice to sit on the deck while traveling or coming into port. Not fancy, but very clean which is perfect for us!

Make sure all the details for the upcoming trip are double checked so you know what to bring and not to bring etc.
Very pretty, but we were only there from 8 PM to midnight so for me that was too late to venture very far but for some they enjoyed going into the city by water taxi. We walked to fisherman’s Village which was unique.
