We had a wonderful time. We are campers, so even though we enjoyed the cruise, the next time we go to Alaska we will camp. That way we can enjoy spending more time at the places we enjoy. It was a nice sneak peak, but way to rushed.

It was busy, but they moved us right along
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Lido couldn’t have been better. From the food, server, appearance and time. Absolutely the best. However, the Caraerta(?) could have done so much better. The service was beyond slow. Hard to enjoy when it takes as long as it did for everything. The main dining room was very nice. We only ate at each of those once. The rest we did the buffet. We enjoyed picking out what we like and the perfect amounts as well.
Lido Restaurant

Everything about this dinner was over the top. Our server explained everything. Our food was fantastic. The whole experience was the best on the ship.
Onboard Activities

NA. We didn’t do any onboard activities.
Wonder Photo Shop

We loved the photo experience. We did the black and whites. She made us feel very comfortable so our I tires captured us laughing and enjoying ourselves. Not just a pose like every where else.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the nightly programs. All of them. The comedian and illusionist were fantastic as were the singers and dancers.
We also enjoyed watching and listening about Alaska.
Children's Programs
Didn’t take kids with us.
Service and Staff

Our room steward Leonard was the absolute best. The laundry service was wonderful as well. Everyone we came up to was extremely friendly.
Ship Quality

The ship was always spotless.

The room was perfect in size and comfort. I loved the veranda.
Ship tip
Be polite. I saw way to many rude people. They feel they are above the staff. We’re all human. No ones worth is more than another’s.
We did the train and I just wish we had more time in town. To rushed to get back to the ship. I wish we would have known we could have gotten on a later ferry back to the ship.
We did the best of Juneau. I wish we would have skipped the salmon bake and stayed out watching whales longer. That was a live and learn lesson for sure.
We kayaked. It was a lot of fun. The construction in town was poorly run and the construction workers were very nasty. I was surprised at the information spot in front of the ship, the woman was less than helpful with helping us find out how to get to see totum poles after we kayaked.
I was very disappointed at the whole beginning of the inside passage. We were out in no mans land. Seeing nothing all day, until times that had stuff happening on the shop in the afternoon and evening. Then when I would have loved being outside enjoying the views and looking for wildlife we had to be places.
That's what I like about cruising. You get a one day taste of various places to see how they are without getting being stuck somewhere for a week. If you like it, go back on your own!
