The Westerdam had been refurbished a little while back and was in good condition. We liked the size of the ship. Easy to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was comfortable, cabin was clean and the bathroom was a nice size. You could move around in the shower.

Ship tip

We liked our main floor 1. Good location to get to the entertainment and dining rooms.

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

Didn't spend a lot of time in Seward but what we saw was ok.

We had a clear day to see the glacier and saw some calfing.

Did the Glacier Point Wilderness Safari. It was a good excursion.

Visited a couple of bars. Did the Roberts Tramway, nice ride up with a great view. Also, did the 5 Plane Glacier Taku Float plane ride. That was a great excursion.

Didn't see much of Ketchikan. It was raining that day. We did go fishing but we only caught one Haibut.

Took a bus ride around the city and got a good feel of the city.

Took us awhile to get of the ship. I think part of the problem our group of people from YMT didn't have the bus ready for us. and they seem to be a little unorganized
