Ship is very old. No mini fridge and no USB ports and only one place to plug in.

Make sure to bring motion sickness medicine just in case. The small ship gets pretty rocky

No bells or whistles, serenity pool was drained more than it was full. Bring books to read because there's very little to do except gamble. Most shows were terrible. Duoquintescense and love and marriage were great, 2 out of 9 were worth seeing. Food was terrible and tasteless.

Looking for good food, go on another ship

If you prefer larger ships this one not for you. And if you don't like your dinner in MDR then your out of luck because no where else to eat unless you can get a reservation at specialty restaurants
jbpackman
If you are looking for a lot of the activities that are offered on the newer/larger ships the ships out of Baltimore are not for you. If you just enjoy cruising then they are fine.

Go early for entertainment at the Centrum And the theater.

Find the Viking Crown Lounge. Make your own party there.

Never sale with this cruise line because they are inconsistent and extremely disorganized regarding any refunds. I spent over nine hours on the phone.

Take advantage of the kids center. It’s safe and they will love it.

It will likely be an older crowd. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it has the charm of all Royal cruises and it is a less overwhelming experience. You won't get lost on the ship, but you won't want to spend more than three sea days in a row on it, either.

Easy to navigate

Be prepared for a long trip because time goes by slow.

Book packages early

My best advice would be to book when school is in session. There were 500 kids on our ship which in itself is not a problem. But most of the parents didn’t keep an eye on them. Kids running down the hallways at all hours. Playing on the elevator so older people couldn’t use them. All the hot tubs were full of kids so no one else could use them.

Bring night light for room, and dont get a cabin on ends, wear a mask!

This is a small friendly ship. Don’t expect the ship to keep you entertained. Make your own happiness.
narose
Bring your hunger.
