Review summary

Booking was a horrible experience. You have to be 21 years ago to room by yourself. allowed us to put 2, 20 year olds in a room together. Royal threatened to cancel us, over 11 hours on phone, plus 1hr at Royal boarding counter.

Embarkation

Not allowed to board, still had our info scrambled. Took over an hour at Royals counter to fix.

I always use a travel agent for all my sailings. Ms Katie from Priceline has served me well with my 20+ bookings! I always try to have something to look forward to!

I’ll be on Vision in 62 days and other than embarking, it sounds like you enjoyed it. I’ve only been on one other cruise, Oct last year on Oasis, so I’m hoping the smaller ship isn’t a disappointment.

Interesting. Different cruise line and back in 2011, husband and I had a room and connecting to it was my daughter and her friends room, two 18yo high school graduates. Never questioned. Rules can change.

Glad you got it to work out in the end. Hopefully you still enjoyed the cruise after working out the boarding.

Sorry for your experience. While I agree research is important, so is the proper management of a company. If I’m reading this correctly, sounds like the cruise line initially allowed the 20 year olds in their own cabin, and you tried to correct it, with difficulty. A booking shouldn’t go thru if it’s incorrect…Glad it was sorted out in the end.

Sorry about the booking issues, but glad that you otherwise had a good cruise. Thanks for the review.

Research research and ask questions…everyone assumes everything in this day and age.
