Stayed in my stateroom. Our dinner companions were sick and coughing all over my plate/food. I was not impressed. Missed the 2nd formal night.

Sounds like you should just request to be seated alone in the MDR

I do agree that if you are coughing/sneezing a lot you should be removed from MDR especially with today's health concerns.
