Review summary

We had an awesome trip. The weather was always between 82-88. It was wonderful. There were 5 of us traveling together. We often played cards in the morning or afternoons when nothing was happening. We enjoyed the Solarium often. It was quieter there. Great entertainment. You could be as involved as you wanted to be.

Embarkation

Very easy, we had to wait a few minutes to get on the ship, but not bad!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were only in My time dining, but we came at the same time and had a wonderful waiter Javier and assistant waiter Mohammad! Table 181!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We participated in the Dancercise with Julie and learning the Thriller dance without cruise director Steve Davis.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all the evening shows and the matinees that they had.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had some great service in both our room stewards and waiters-mentioned earlier.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is older, but we still had a great time. In the theatre the chairs were more comfortable than some of the bigger ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was about the same size as other cabins, but you are only there to sleep and change clothes. There was plenty of room for two people. Plenty of closet space and drawers.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

We had stayed at the Double Tree in San Pedro and enjoyed an early morning walk before loading the ship.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

I had been there around 35 years ago and it has really grown!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We ended up going to San Sebastián and had a wonderful meal prepared for us. And enjoyed the city.

Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

Beautiful area!

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

We enjoyed a train ride and then a boat ride where we saw a lot of the wild life that lives in the river.

Panama Canal Transit

This is always fascinating for me to see this piece of history.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

We just headed back to the airport after clearing Customs.
