Review summary

For our first cruise we can without a doubt say we enjoyed every bit of it. We had wonderful staff around us, great food, and amazing scenery. Definitely booking with Visions our next cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Awesome! Couldn’t do much since I hurt my hand and had to have surgery after the cruise/ holidays. But it was still filled with enjoyment. The staff is wonderful, filled with holiday spirit and always welcoming. The food was delicious and the shows were performances were outstanding. Even going back to the cabins at the end of the day we’re exciting, just because I didn’t know what to expect when walking in. Highly recommend.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Always clean. Food was excellent and always something different to choose from.

Main Dining Room

5 out of 5

The restaurant was amazing. Delicious food. Our server and server assistant was Venessa and Ellidel. High recommend. They deserve a raise or a promotion! Service was most excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
First off, we are huge movie lovers and the outdoor movies were our go-to. One of us was not really able to utilize the pool or fitness areas but we definitely did our best to check out the casino and all the bars on the ship. (The Viking crown lounge was one in particular we felt kind of uncomfortable in. The man at the entrance approached us after we had already been at the bar for quite some time and asked for our seapass cards then just walked off with them. After a few moments we followed after him to see why he did that and he just scanned them and handed them back with no real explanation. He wasn’t necessarily rude he just didn’t inform us on what was going on at all.)

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Extremely entertaining. I’m pretty sure our stomachs will be sore for a little while since we laughed so much.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We didn’t see much of it but the air hockey and racing games were pretty fun!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our service from Jay, Vanessa, and Ellidel were outstanding. We loved every joke, towel animal, and service received from such wonderful and talented people. If we could give them a sixth star we would.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was well kept and the layout of the ship was just so big to us because it was our first cruise but the directions were easily assessable and we had no trouble finding our locations and destinations.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfectly kept. Comfortable size. And overall a great room to recharge for another day of fun.

Ship tip

Prepare for a memorable experience with the most personable staff we ever met.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

1 out of 5
We didn’t do an excursions. Just traveled the coast and throughout the city.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

4 out of 5
Progresso was very fun but we felt like we couldn’t have a moment to enjoy the scenery since there were so many people trying to sell us merchandise.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel was amazing. We loved every bit of it. Met some really friendly and knowledgable merchants and really just enjoyed the coast.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Slightly longer than expected but organizing an entire ship before leaving is a difficult task so we understood.
