Super AWESOME family vacation for my 2 older teenagers and myself.
Wish we would have done it YEARS before.

Food was Fabulous. It was AWESOME to try new things.
Our staff was AMAZING and very patient with us when we ordered multiple dishes off of the menu.
Onboard Activities

Sushi Making class was TERRIFIC!!
Very entertaining and way too much food to eat. (skip breakfast before the 11am class).
We were a little disappointed that we didn't get to do the Gally/Kitchen Tour because it was scheduled at the same time as the Sushi Class.
We also had to miss the Towel Folding Class because of a schedule conflict....
Entertainment

LOVED the nightly shows.
Appreciated that we didn't have to make reservations and that the schedule was set so we could see EVERY show available after our 5:30 dinner time.
Children's Programs

I was VERY nervous about taking my 16 y.o. son and him getting "bored".
He ABSOLUTELY LOVED the teen room and the ability to meet up with his new friends between family activities and late after done with our dinner.
Service and Staff

Our room steward was sooooo patient and sweet.
He made the effort to learn/call us by name and the children enjoyed our nightly towel animal surprise.

Cabin / Stateroom

Easily sleeps 4!
We didn't know about the 2 fold downs until after we rearranged the 2 twins to make an oversized Full Size bed...
We only wandered the port---No other excursion taken.
The excursion choices were limited and the ones available seems a bit "off the beaten path"--made me nervous to go on my own with 2 teenagers.
Playa Mia for the day---LOVED IT!!!
Beach, free drinks, lunch buffet, hair braiding, messages.
Wish we would have known about the time for the cooking class ahead---we missed it : (
I dropped/lost my phone somewhere between breakfast and the meeting place to depart.
I wandered the ship retracing my path since the front desk was not helpful in finding where it may have been picked up. They wouldn't radio room staff or waiting room coordinators to help me solve my issue so that my kids and I could leave.
Turns out it was picked up and turned into security at the exit instead of the front desk--which is all everyone would tell me "check the desk".
There was no way for me to have known it was in the security guard's pocket at the exit if I hadn't had a crying breakdown and some woman sent to find me to tell me this was the situation. VERY frustrating way to end this AWESOME FAMILY VACATION.
The normal lost and found is the guest services desk. That is likely why everyone told you that. The security guard should have taken it to guest services but given their position on the last day during disembarking making they couldn't.
