Review summary
This was the first cruise I have taken on Royal Caribbean. We went on the Vision of the seas which is one of their older ships. The ship was very nice for being older. We stayed in an ocean view stateroom and it was very nice. The window was large, bed was very comfortable, and it was a good size. The shiip hired four famouse comedians and that alone made the entire voyage worth going on. The staff is not as excellent as the Holland America line, but they were still pleasant. The excursions we took in Mexico are memories we will have for a lifetime. I highly recommend going on the one that takes you into the country side in Mazatlan. The ship has very tight security. The food was good in the dining room. I must say though that again the Holland America line in my opinion has five star food in the dining room and I would rate the Royal Caribbean a three and a half star. We made quite a few friends. The crowd was very diverse in age, so it is a great ship for people of all ages. The boarding process was quick and simple. The two things they can improve on is the lounge acts and the daily activities on the ship. would recommend this ship and I would travel on it again in the future.Ports of call
Pros: The food is great
Cons: There were not many daily activities on the ship
Recommends Vision of the Seas? Yes!
