Review summary

We love Viking cruise line. This trip was a bit of a let down. We had to be tested everyday and had a mask on everywhere. We felt and many I have spoken to felt the same way. We will not cruise with Viking till they relax the restrictions.

Floridagirl4. I think are mistaken. CDC does not tell cruise line that they have to test everyday also they suggest to wear a mask indoors. We where a on a cruise last November going out of Florida in the Apex. As we got in board the crew told us that we were free to take off the masks and go about the ship. We had to test 24 hours before the cruise and only then. Viking had us test everyday and wear a mask everywhere. So it is not a CDC thing it is a Viking thing.

Amen! We were worried about our upcoming March 13th cruise. Thankfully mask on not required, only recommended.

Thanks for sharing. Glad you enjoyed the cruise despite all the testing.

Those policies were not Viking’s fault, the CDC required those. I knew about those restrictions and chose to cancel our West Indies cruise until I could enjoy a mask-free, testing-free trip.

Every day?!?!? Oh well, at least it sounds like a good trip otherwise.
