Overall this was a lovely cruise
Could not call room service ever and in the afternoon after an excursion there were no good alternatives. Manager acknowledged problem, gave me a different phone extension to try but still unable to call.
Our package included 3 specialty restaurant reservations. They were all booked quickly. Called Viking. No one returned my call.

We liked the specialty restaurants. Did not much care for buffets. They were crowded and hard to get servers attention. Manifredis was our favorite. The main dining room on the second floor was also very good. Excellent service , very good food.

Daily talks on upcoming ports were interesting though history lecturer was pretty dry. Decided to avoid her.
The pool in the spa was fantastic, saltwater and you swim against the current. Good sauna and ice room.
