Quite simply the best ocean cruise experience I've had. The itinerary is magical, the ship is sublime, the staff is top notch and the shore excursions are curated for "the thinking person". Viking is on the top of its game. Can't wait until my next Viking Ocean cruise in May 2025!

Chef's Table continues to be a favorite for me. Their Korean Night was exquisite. I thought I understood and knew Korean food well until it was reinterpreted for me by the excellent and creative chefs at the Chef's Table. The Restaurant's destination menu was delicious without being too complex. Manfredi's seafood selection, although not often mentioned, is a favorite. And of course, Mamsen's! Lunch at Mamsen's daily was a total delight.

Performances by Viking Voices and the Soprano were wonderful - a step up from prior Viking evening performances that I've witnessed. The Viking Band continues to impress. Michael on guitar has a voice like butter.

Service and staff are what make Viking special. They are total pros - warm, kind, friendly and professional in every way.
Ship Quality

Housekeeping staff - they are like Tinkerbell and pixie dust. No sooner will you leave an area, and it is tidied up like magic. Every nook and cranny of the ship is spotless and clean. Amazing!
Cabin / Stateroom

Penthouse Junior Suite is the best bet for me - lots of space, beautifully appointed and well laid out. The 7th floor is better in a lot of ways than the 8th floor. Our cabin was kitty corner from the Wintergreen and Mamsen's. And soooo quite!
Ship tip
On Viking, picking the right shore excursion is key to your experience. Privileged Access shore excursions are not to be missed. Also, kudos to Viking for adding special touches to the overall experience.
