All excellent - varied menus in different settings so we did not get bored and the food is terrific

Onboard Activities

thermal pool, spa, astronomer's interesting presentations

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All fun - Judith and Speedy were really good, the three young people Rosie, Collin and Dan were SO fun and talented, the guitarist Michael in the Explorer Lounge enhanced our cocktails and the pianist, cello player and violinist were incredibly perfect for our leisure moments.

Service and Staff

amazing! They knew what we wanted or needed before we did. Friendly, caring and professional.

Ship Quality

As I have said to many people already, Jupiter itself was the star. Everything thought through so completely for our maximum comfort and convenience. No wonder Viking keeps building these ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

Much roomier than we anticipated. Perfect! Plenty of storage and space to spread out. Easy to keep everything organized.

Ship tip

Try not to eat too much the first several days - which is HARD because you have never seen so many wonderful choices.

Our Viking tour did not stop in the old city as advertised. We would have gone on our own had we known this. Disappointing.

Mariehamn, Finland

Our excursion was wonderful and the town just charming. We wish we could have stayed longer. Also did an excursion to a fabulous castle which was fascinating and well done.

Bornholm, Denmark Did not visit port

the sea was too rough to dock

Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany

Terrific little town. We walked around on our own and also did an excursion to Rostock which we enjoyed very much. Also a train ride to a seaside resort town - very interesting and fun.

Copenhagen, Denmark

We took the Panorama Tour instead of the Viking included walking tour. It was perfect for us and we saw more of the town. In the afternoon we sat by the main canal watching the world go by. Fabulous city - we will go back for sure some day.

Aalborg, Denmark

Oslo, Norway

Loved Oslo - the museums, the people, the landscape. The tour by Viking was great - we loved the Viguland Sculpture Park and going up to the ski lift.

Stavanger, Norway

Wonderful place! Happy people, great shopkeepers. We shopped for our dinner with Rudy the head chef. It was just great fun to be with him and our cute, knowledgeable guide.

Bergen, Norway

Very pretty town, smaller than I expected. Our tour guide was very good, giving us an overview of the history and the issues of today.
