Overall an excellent cruise. On some of the excursions the guide was sometimes long winded. Ok if you're walking but sometimes standing for 15-20 minutes

Overall, a very educational experience with good food, outstanding staff, comfortable as could be on a river boat. All tours (with one exception) were guided by the most wonderful, knowledgeable entertaining individuals that could be wished for !! They all deserve congratulations.

The ONLY thing that we would change about this wonderful trip would have been to spend one or two more nights in Prague... The rest of the trip was AWESoME!

We were very pleased with all aspects of the trip, the ship, the locations visited, the food and the cruise time on the rivers but most outstanding was the competent and very friendly care provided by the staff. 

Everything went very smoothly. The crew were cheerful and responsive, and the guides clearly knew what they were talking about. Wine flowed freely at meals, and fellow travelers were congenial. About the only suggestion for improvement that I have is to ask cruisers to wear name tags at meals, in order to help us remember whom we've met and whom we have not!

Everything here is first-class. On every stop, and in-between, you’re well taken care of.  The tours, by bus and foot, are led by knowledgeable local guides.  The food on a small ship is excellent.  Dining room  is open seating, so we met interesting couples from around the English-speaking world.

As veteran ocean-liner cruisers, we were impressed at how all-inclusive this was.   Big ships always seem to be looking out for extra money, whether casinos, drinks, land tours, bingo or auctions.  Drinks at meals are free on Viking, so the only charges are for the bar at other times.  Tips are optional, not mandated as on large cruises.  Even the Internet is free.

The trip is extremely well-organized.  The only glitch came when a local bus arrived late, and officers spent the rest of the day apologizing for the few minutes’ delay.

It was a bit too cold in mid-November (we had to wait til the World Series was over for our trip).  I’d recommend going earlier in the year.

Entertainment on such a small ship is impressive, local talent performing local music (folk, opera).  Our only optional tour was to a concert in Vienna, well worth it. 

This was our first River Cruise and our honeymoon.  Viking took care of every detail - they thought of things we hadn't even considered (but that's what they do all day)!  The meals were like a 5Star Restaurant every night.  The Viking cruise director recommended places to eat & drink in the towns and even gave you warnings of tourist traps to steer clear.  I can't say enough about how wonderful the trip was....the only recommendation I would give Viking is that they need to provide accommodations for more active seniors like bicycles or walking tours - not everyone is 80 or can't walk too far, especially after all those wonderful meals!

This was our first time on a Viking Cruise and we were very impressed with it.  So much so, that we are planning on doing another cruise with Viking in the future.

The boat was very comfortable, pristine and well equipped.  The crew and staff were wonderful, attentive, polite and accommodating.  Cruising along the Rhine was captivating and we enjoyed all the wonderful castles and towns we passed along the way.  This was truly a memorable experience for us.

The Viking team is what makes this experience spectacular. From the time you arrive until your last day, they are constantly taking care of you. Viking makes sure you are getting everything you want and expect on this cruise. I would highly recommend this cruise, you won't be disappointed.

This is the first cruise I've been on and I can say I highly recommend Viking. Only 183 passengers, nice staterooms, comfortable bed, outstanding cuisine, well planned and thought out excursions, and a terrific team of crew and support personnel.

Rooms were kept immaculately clean.

i can't say enough about the service staff and crew provided. Captain and Hotel Manager, Program Director, the Chef, his staff and the stewards, the Housekeeper and her staff as well as the local guides worked together to ensure an exceptional experience for all.

They even provided gentle and leisurely groups on excursions for those who may not have been as spry and mobile as they once were.

In addition to planned guided excursions there was free time built in to the schedule for exploring on your own, which was great in Paris and Prague particularly.

1. It was good in general. Staff onboard ship were friendly, polite and eager to please, except 1 who served in the dining room was impatient when being reminded of services not delivered after a long time.

2. Also, a city tour in Luxembourg was missing without explanation, leaving us doing Nothing in the town. There was NO makeup tours.

3.Too many wine tasting optional tours on the trip. Should have more variety. Lectures were boring, especially after lunch.

We have a very good experience in the ship in all aspects. Ports, food, and general services.

Ship was new and beautifully maintained. Crew was very friendly. Alwassy tried to please. Passengers were great. Food was outstanding. Tours were marvelous
