Review summary

We loved every minute of our cruise from the days at sea to the mostly interesting ports that we visited. The food and entertainment were excellent

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Comfortable quick and stress free

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent food choice and service

The Exchange

4 out of 5

Friendly staff and lots of things going on throughout the day although most of the bar staff didn’t realise that a larger should not be served in a bitter glass!

The White Room

5 out of 5

Fabulous food beautifully presented and service excellent

Saffron Restaurant

5 out of 5

Excellent food and service

Metropolis

4 out of 5

Very upmarket venue for pre dinner drinks

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Facilities were good and diverse activities offered

Photo Gallery

1 out of 5

Wasn’t very impressed as we hardly saw any of the photographers apart from on black tie nights and they didn’t seem as approachable as last year. Also there didn’t seem to be as many of them as last year and the ones we did see were being monopolised by couples who I assume had paid for the unlimited photo package so therefore not interested in anyone who hadn’t

Oasis Spa & Health Club

3 out of 5

Facilities good in the Spa but a bit overpriced and didn’t like the constant sales pitches and the added 10% on the treatments. The health club was ok but I felt that there should have been a member of staff available to help with the correct way to use the machines as not everyone who uses the gym knows what each machine is used for or how to best use them without getting injured or frustrated as not sure how to use

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Faultless

Atrium

5 out of 5

Light bright and stunning

Arena Theatre

5 out of 5

Excellent

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Attentative and couldn’t do enough for us especially our cabin steward Mangesh

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Mostly good but still some areas need attention as looking a bit worn and tired but overall good and ships layout was good even though we still got our bearings wrong a few times

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size was perfect and the bed very comfortable. The cabin was always clean and our steward Mangesh couldn’t do enough for us

Ship tip

Just enjoy every minute and make the most of every day

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

3 out of 5
Didn’t really see much of Southampton so can’t really comment

Barcelona, Spain

3 out of 5
We thought that it was noisy, dirty and didn’t really like it overall but there was some stunning architecture

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

4 out of 5
Booked a tour and was exhausted at the end of the day as there was so much to see

Naples, Italy

4 out of 5
Again booked a tour and came back exhausted- so much to see and take in all the history

Cagliari, Sardinia

5 out of 5
We didn’t think much of this port and got back on board early as nothing much to see or do

Gibraltar (U.K.)

4 out of 5
Didn’t do an excursion as we just wanted to wander around the shop but on reflection think that we should have done an excursion

Disembarkation
