The food in Gumbai was not edible- The steak in the Wake- had been reheated from the Sous Vide the previous night- I expected far better meals

It was hectic- the schedule was scattered- booking yoga took a ton of luck.

Service and Staff

My daughter had a glass thrown at her- The “doctor” insisted she didn’t need stitches- when she got home, she had to have surgery to reopen the cut and properly suture it- Turns out- If they put a stitch, they would have had to report an assault with serious injury to the FBI and didn’t want to add a data point- truly a trip from hell!!
Ship Quality

Ship tip
Don’t book a trip on this ship- it’s cursed! A 2 year old ship with at least 2 overboard deaths that we know of!
First of all, I would like to know how many cruises you have been on. Most bathrooms in the cabin are small unless you have a penthouse. I can’t talk about the shows because I haven’t taken a virgin voyage cruise yet but you sound like you would hate any kind of cruise. As far as I know, there has only been one death of someone falling overboard according to Google. And if someone goes overboard, it is not the cruise lines fault if somebody wants to take their own life. so you can’t make that as a rating. I have been on 32 cruises. I have never experienced anything terrible on any cruise line. I have been on Princess, carnival, Royal, Caribbean, celebrity, and Norwegian cruise lines. when I go in October this will be my first virgin cruise, so as you can see, I am not a first timer. Maybe you should not cruise on any cruise line ever because you will complain about everything
You gave all ports a one star. If you chose this itinerary, why would you give each port one star? Sounds like cruising may not be for you. Sorry to hear you had such a terrible experience.
Virgin does not allow any children on board, even older children. Minimum age is 18. Story needs a little more background on who/why the glass was thrown to sound credible.
