We were informed the night before we left that we would be skipping all ports due to Hurricane Milton and told us they'd be going to Puerto Plata, DR and Labadee. I was fine with that because I hadn't been to those ports before. Puerto Plata was great, we had a nice time although the Royal City excursion was more about shopping than the promised historical sites. I don't need 25 minutes at their "approved" store and only 5 at the local church. We missed the fort entirely.
Service was exceptional, the specialty restaurants were great and all in all it was a good cruise. The entertainment is top-notch.

Embarkation was very easy
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The specialty restaurants were outstanding. Dining room and buffet were ok, but not as good as they used to be. We had dinner at 150 Central Park and Jamie's Italian, and both were phenomenal.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
They didn't have enough activities on the extra sea days, so we were often bored. Weather prevented them from running certain shows. The rain and then the wind storms kept people from outdoor activities.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Hairspray was fantastic. Flight...Dare to Dream was also great. We loved the ice show, 1977. We missed HiRo because of many weather-related cancellations. The jazz ensemble was top-notch and we followed them to different venues on the ship.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff all went out of their way to make people happy. Many were seasick but they still did their jobs while smiling and not complaining. They deserve all the praise in the word.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is gorgeous, clean, up to date and has great venues. I loved Central Park the most.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
A little snug, I've had larger balcony cabins, but well appointed. I wish they had outlets on both sides of the bed, but other than that it was great. Lots of storage space. Very clean. Close but not too close to the forward elevators.
Ship tip
Be prepared for millions of kids. Off season and there were still over 900 of them.
The ship seemed to lose control of disembarkation. The lines to get out were horrendous, times kept changing, people with tours were all going crazy trying to get off. It was a madhouse. Despite my luggage having the tag, one bag wound up in lost & found.
