We finally made it onto this ship after being sidelined due to covid and changes made by the cruiseline in previous years. We have previously been on Harmony several times and Oasis. I am not sure why, but I expected more and was a little disappointed. The atmosphere was very different, entertainers in some instances were just not as engaging as they were on the other ships. We will be back on Oasis next year, with this same itinerary, and are looking forward to it. We had a great time despite both of us getting ill while on the cruise. (Probably from our flight or day at Disney, lol) The crew was top notch. They found a small vessel adrift, stopped, turned around and dropped a rescue boat to check it out. No one on board, so they resumed our voyage. Overall, a nice getaway.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived shortly before our scheduled time, luggage porter was friendly and helpful. We proceeded to the check in station and went right onto the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate in MDR, our waiter Sagar and his assistant Ema were absolutely wonderful. The food was good, but not exceptional. Some nights were better than others, and there was always something to enjoy. The Windjammer was pretty much the same. I was worried about sanitation at El Loco Fresh, mostly because of all the kids. If any venue needed a washy washy person, it's there. Dog House, and Sorrento's were great for a quick bite. We grabbed some onion rings at Playmakers, they were rather greasy.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There are many activities to enjoy. The cruise director was difficult to understand, and the activities director seemed to be shouting into a microphone every time we heard her.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The stage shows were fabulous (Hairspray, Hiro, 1977, Flight). The piano man at Schooners, the guitar player at Copper Kettle, were ok, but had no personality or ability to engage the crowd. I felt the same way about the band in the promenade. The pool band did not play often and seemed to take alot of breaks. The comedians and Mark Preston were very good. It seemed like so much was scheduled so late at night we didn't care to participate. I remember on Harmony and Oasis they started things earlier.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All of the staff we encountered were friendly and service was top notch. Sagar and Ema in MDR, and Janelle our room stewardess, among the best we have ever had. Customer Service was excellent as well.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Great flow of people, so other than embarkation day, never felt overly crowded. There were alot of families and kids with spring break, crew did a great job keeping everything clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This balcony cabin is over Cental Park, and is located next to the living wall, near the Trellis Bar. The bed is located next to the balcony door. Storage and space was adequate for our needs. Janelle kept it clean every morning. I do miss the 2nd service each day.
Ship tip
Take some time to research the ship and the ports you plan to visit.
We did the Kukukanuku party bus, Carlos was our guide. Got a tour of the island, a stop at the chapel and the lighthouse and then some beach time. There is nothing at the port. This was our first visit. I think next time we would rent a vehicle and explore on our own.
