Review summary

We loved Symphony of the Seas! So many activities to keep my kiddos busy! We enjoyed having various dining options with an unpredictable toddler. We enjoyed the main dining room 3 nights and the wait staff was great! We frequented Johnny Rockets for breakfast and their staff provided excellent service. The pools were crowded, but that was to be expected on a Spring Break cruise. The opener for the comedy show was hilarious. My children enjoyed Adventure Ocean and my husband and I were able to enjoy a few date nights together. Overall we LOVED this vacation and are ready to plan our next cruise!

The ship rerouted to Falmouth, Jamaica and we had an amazing time. We went to Blue Hole and horseback riding with Experience Jamaica Tours and highly recommend them!

We took a taxi to Baby Beach, which was about 30 mins from the port. Taxi was $10 pp for 6 people. We paid $70 for a cabana cover with 2 chairs and a 3rd chair was $10. The beach was beautiful with calm waters and great snorkeling. There was also rock stacking that my son enjoyed. Big Mama's restaurant was average. The food was kinda pricey for what it was (but to be expected) and service was alright - it served it's purpose for being conveniently located on the beach! The restaurant setup a taxi home for $50 and the driver drove SO fast and the tires were screeching on turns - we are thinking he was not a licensed taxi driver and glad we made it safely.

We visited the Sea Aquarium. There is not much to see compared to other aquariums, but the dolphin show made it worth it. The dolphin show was amazing, highly recommend just for the show. My husband and son also had the opportunity to swim with dolphins and the loved it! Very cool experience. We walked over to Mambo Beach after and my sons looked for shells. The beach was not what I expected. Very commercialized and lots of people. I would recommend water shoes as the beach had lots of little shells in the sand.

We chose to do self-assist with our luggage because we had an early flight. We got in line at 6:45 and were off the ship by 7:30 and were at our gate at the airport by 8:30 for our 9:30 flight. It was a risk taking an early flight, but thankfully it all worked out!
