Review summary

Be sure to research the cost of yours through the cruise and through Trip Advisor and Viator. We had a group of 10 and got intimate and personalized tours through outside venues. They always made sure we were back to port on time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was incredibly easy and fast. Less cumbersome than boarding in the states. We could buy wine and alcohol at the duty free shop before boarding and bring on two bottles per person. They had a wine specialist to help make selections and they were very affordable. Because the cruise allows people to board at multiple ports, it wasn’t overwhelming with people, but Barcelona was the busiest entry.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We only did one specialty restaurant this cruise, the Hibachi, and it did not disappoint. Most nights were in the main dining room and the food was good and a nice variety. They went above and beyond to accommodate allergies. But nothing blew me away except for the night I ordered the filet from the steak house. Our service at the restaurants was incredible. Extremely attentive and helpful.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The activities were good, but I didn’t really do any of them because of being of the boat and tired from excursions. However, others in my party did anc enjoyed them.

Entertainment

Royal Caribbean knows how to do entertainment.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our service was exceptional. One change was have our room serviced once a day. It worked out fine, but sometimes our steward forgot things. But when our room was clean, it looked amazing. We even got towel animals. ☺️

Ship tip

Be prepared for international travelers. If you are from the States, you’ll expect common courtesy like waiting in line and other US politeness standards. Some cultures just go! So, don’t be surprised if people just want to move in front of you. The staff does a good job of keep people in line.

Super fast and easy. Taxis are available and the line moves fast. You can also prearrange transportation. However, when using a taxi make sure they drop you off where you want to go. One of group got dropped off several blocks away from the place we wanted to go. Be assertive
