Not a cruise for single mid 20's, adult children. Food is mediocre.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
confusing, no one offered to help carry anything.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
dining room was nice but felt rushed, not relaxing. buying wine was ridiculously expensive, Buffets were crowded and chaotic. Lots of kids running around. Room service was confusing and out of sync asked for certain time and then they would call on the room phone and say delivering, calls were a lot earlier than requested.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
pool was extremely crowded hard to get seats. Fitness center was okay, used elliptical hard to figure out how to watch tv. Did a free few minute massage which was odd because the wait was long they didn't say you needed to get a number, then when they passed them out they were in the wrong order. What i finally got was only one one side of my neck/ shoulder for about 4-5 minutes... really?

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedy show was pretty good.

Children's Programs

Traveled with adults

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff was very friendly and helpful

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
areas were clean and nicely landscaped the promenade area on 8th floor was slippery when it was wet

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
good. Outlet by bed didn't work for cell phone to be plugged in, this was a problem. Could hear toilets flushing throughout the night, this was annoying

Ship tip

Cruise is really for families with younger kids not really for adults. Be prepared to be charged for everything you do

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

4 out of 5
it is a far drive to port from rome. Port to airport isn't too bad. Beware of taking taxis when you get off ship as they took advantage us and charged us a lot more than we were told.

Naples, Italy

4 out of 5
Long drive on bus, be sure you get information from your tour guide when you do your tours! I was left in Sorrento and had no information to locate the group, was lucky that the meeting place was familiar with the cruise line and the guides and they were able to locate the bus for me. I was totally panicked . Ship Excursion desk would not offer me any compensation for being left behind and having to pay additional 20.00 to take a cab to find the bus.

Barcelona, Spain

4 out of 5
did our own thing in Barcelona did not book through the ship.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

5 out of 5
Did the Wine tour, this was the best tour we did through the Cruise line but tour was delayed and we had to merge it with another group so the tasting tour group was twice the size it should have been

Marseille (Provence), France

4 out of 5
Did on our own

La Spezia, Italy

4 out of 5
Very long drive into to Florence, spent 4 plus hours driving there and back, a lot of walking. Tour inly was the academia museum did not include tickets to see any other sites

Disembarkation

My daughter needed to collect a confiscated item and no one knew where it was. She had to go back on to the ship to get it. Beware of taxi drivers , the driver who took us to to our hotel near FCO lied to us and charged us 3 xs what he said the price would be, there was no recourse.
