Overall, we had an amazing family vacation with our 4 adult daughters! There were inconveniences with the steward and the okay quality of the food but we still enjoyed the trip! Expect to pay a lot for drinks if you did not get the drink package..$15-18 a cocktail. Drink of the day was essentially nonexistent and if they had one you were still paying $13. Everything on the boat felt like a moneymaker. I do not feel the need to cruise on Royal Caribbean again. I will probably try another cruise line.
Embarkation

We were sure to get an early check in time. Embarkation was quick and easy!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I have to admit that I did not want to believe other reviews that I read prior to the cruise. Unfortunately , food in most areas were disappointing. They seemed to rename same dishes to make it sound different. Quality in main dining room was just poor. We only used the Main Dining room 3 times because it just wasn’t good! They had breaded American cheese sticks that they called mozzarella sticks. Desserts had no flavor and the vegetables of the week were broccoli and carrots. No other vegetables were served. Buffets always crowded. Sorrento pizza was where we ate mostly on the ship. We relied on the port restaurants for our main meals.
Onboard Activities

Thank goodness for the solarium! No kids around!!
However, pool and hot tubs were very crowded!
Entertainment

Hair Spray and Hiro were amazing!
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
We were not happy with our steward! Room was often not cleaned until dinner. What ever happened to those cool towel animals? We never saw any! Our daughters room wasn’t even cleaned on arrival…Cheetos on the chairs, no soap,no toilet paper. Never received room service menus or laundry bags..even when asked for them.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship common areas were always clean. Loved the sinks to wash your hands as you entered the buffet.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
I already commented on the poor cleaning of the cabin. The balcony rooms are a perfect size for two people. My four daughters stayed in one room and it was just too small. For a couple hundred dollars extra, we could have had a 3rd room. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize it until it was too late and the travel agent did not suggest it even knowing the ages of our daughters.
Ship tip
Use Royal Caribbean to set up excursions! They were well organized and guided you through the whole process.
