Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only ate at restaurants that were included in the fare( no specialty restaurants). They were all good quality, good service & clean. I liked that they changed menu in main dining room daily. I have three boys 17-23 & there were no complaints.

Onboard Activities

Cabin / Stateroom

This was our first cruise. Rooms were a lot bigger than I expected. Good use of space. Enjoyed our boardwalk balcony.

Ship tip

Looks for sales , such as on Black Friday, to book your excursions & drink packages.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

Took the express train through Royal Caribbean. Very good. Problem with this is port is that there is not enough time. We only had 6 hours & 20 minutes in Rome.

La Spezia, Italy

Went to Cinque Terre on our own. Beautiful. Definitely would recommend.

Naples, Italy

Went to Pompeii through Royal Caribbean. Very good tour. Lots of other options as well. You can also walk into town.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

It was nice. Not a ton to do but since this was our first port, it was nice a to have a quiet day.

Marseille (Provence), France

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed Marseille. We did an e-bike tour of the city which was fantastic. Royal Caribbean charges $20/person to go in their shuttle. It’s cheaper to look for the free shuttle or a cab.

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
We embarked from Barcelona. We came in a day early & did some sightseeing on our own. Very nice.

Disembarkation

We put out our luggage the night before & they brought it to the port. We then gathered our luggage & put it in the bus that brought us to our airport terminal: Very easy.
