Review summary

Too big of a ship for us (6000 people sold out) We prefer the smaller boats but we wanted to branch out and sail another cruise line. We had a credit that had to be used soon or we would not have chosen RCC. Overall it was a good vacation but the cruise line just does not fit our taste and will be sticking with NCL to rack up the latitude points from now on. 😎❤️🚢

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
If you didn’t eat in the dining room your choices we limited (unless you wanted to pay extra which we did). Windjammers variety of food every day was limited. Same selection EVERY DAY…every meal. Reminded me of budget cruise line we has taken before.

Windjammer Marketplace

Food choices were the same every day with the exception of maybe one or two things. Only one side of buffet was open. We never saw both sides open even with a huge ship with 6000 people and sold out. Made for long lines and little space to eat

Sugar Beach℠ / Beach Shop

Rude crew member. Asked if they had any mens sandal because my husbands broke and she said no. And walk back behind counter and played on her phone the entire time we were they and didn’t even greet the other guests that came in

English Pub

5 out of 5

Was here every night (because there was nothing else to do between 6-10). Bartenders were fantastic and remembered our name and drink after the first night. Pub music was nice also.

Onboard Activities

The “lul” between 6:00pm and 10:30pm was a bummer.

Guest Services

ALWAYS a line. When you do get to the front the first thing they will say “did you check the app?” Yes. The app is crap and not dependable. Times are different between app, paper copy of daily schedule (which you have to ask for), what’s posted on the venue and even the crew will tell you different (example- at dinner talked with waiter about breakfast in dinning room and said 7:00am. App said 7:00am. Went next morning and sign outside said 7:00am. Had to ask crew member walking by he pulled a paper out of his pocket and said 7:00am. Doors were closed and we asked why he did not know. It was 7:14 am. Went to Guest services and was snicked and laughed at and he said “days at sea it always open at 8:00. Not 7:00”. I show him the app and told him signage said 7:00 and he shrugged his shoulders and said sorry)

Entertainment

Hiro was great. Everything else just ok (same as any other cruise)

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room steward was never around and we had to call and ask she bring us towels, take garbage and dirty dishes. One night of a 7 day cruise our room was turned down.

Ship Quality

Too big. Layout was weird.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Lots of storage. Bed was not super comfortable but plenty of floor space to walk around
