We had a wonderful time all around. The food, the ship, the experiences were exactly what we needed. Any of the issues cited elsewhere in the review were our own personal opinions and doesn't mean you'd find the same problem. Can't wait for our next cruise with Royal!

Everything was fine except for wife having to take a COVID test at port for just saying she had a headache a few days prior on the questionnaire. That's a bit much considering it was only a headache and no other symptoms.

All the food was great. Our only item of note was towards the end of the week, the selections weren't the most inspiring in the main dining room.

It was a mixed bag for us regarding performances. One of the two comedians was good and other performances were good like HiRo. Flight, while production value was incredible, especially for the finale, the description of the show wasn't completely as described (didn't say it was a musical for one) and the show wasn't the best given the music was out of place for the show and the narrative of the show was muddled to say the least.

Ship was in great shape, no complaints at all here except finding the medical bay was difficult because on upper floors the deck descriptions all said it was on Deck x at one end, then when we went to Deck x, that deck description said it was at the other end of the ship; both ends of the ship said that and when on that deck, there was no guidance on the walls to the medical bay either.
Cabin / Stateroom

Plenty of space, comfort was wonderful. Love the balcony over Central Park.
Ship tip
Put all your cares away and have a good time. The trip will go too fast so don't miss a minute of it.
We would hope this port get the love and attention that others have. It has a lot of potential even if it is smaller than others. Surprised that that cruise line didn't offer much guidance on shopping or about the experiences of the port like they did for Costa Maya and Cozumel.
