Review summary

We were grateful we were able to sail the cruise as we were the first cruise after the January pause invoked by Royal Caribbean. I feel Royal Caribbean did a great job to provide a safe, healthy cruise for us.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy, seamless, could not have been better.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dinning room was impeccable. The Windjammer market place had a good selection of foods.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
A good variety of activities to choose from.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I thought the ice skating show was outstanding.

Children's Programs

I did not have any children with me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service throughout the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was always clean, everywhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Roomy cabin, our cabin steward Made was top notch, friendly and took great care of us!

Ship tip

We did not purchase the ship texting service but it probably would have been helpful as regular texting was unreliable. Walkie talkies are a good idea for shore excursions.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Starting and end point for the cruise so you don't really spend time there.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Clean, convenient, a variety of activities. My own fault but I did not know beforehand there was Royal Caribbean food and drink provided on Labadee. We did the little roller coaster, it was fun!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
We went to Coral World and visited the aquarium and did snuba.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

4 out of 5
The jet ski excursion we had booked was cancelled. They claimed the weather was too rough. The temperature was 78, the wind was light and the seas were calm. We would have done the jet skis on Labadee if we had known Cococay was not running their jet skis.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The smoothest one I have experienced compared to five previous cruises.
