Great cruise. Had pre-cruise covid concerns and almost canceled. Glad we didn't. We could tell Royal was taking every precaution. Felt safe. Everyone seemed glad to wear mask, socially distance, and wash hands frequently if it meant we could cruise. Ship was beautiful. Royal is first class. Wouldn't cruise with anyone else.

Solarium, walking track, and fitness center was enjoyed every day. Son in law did the zip line and dry slide.

Hiro and Flight to Dream were fantastic. Comedians and ventriloquist were good. Missed the ice shows(didn't reserve quick enough). We were not aware that Hairspray was not going to be shown. Pre-covid cruises had parades and a roaming band that popped up everywhere encouraging impromptu dancing to the music. Can't blame Royal but still missed them. Also missed week long karaoke contest to get ultimate winner.

Ship Quality

Layout and design were good. Our particular cabin at front of the ship on the port side was difficult to get to because a portion of the hallway was blocked off requiring a detour to the starboard side and a circuitous route to the room. Lots of extra walking. Everything extremely clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was fine for 2 people. Very clean. Enough storage space. Difficult to get to.
Ship tip
Great ship. Plenty to do for all ages. Definitely won't be disappointed.
Have been here several times. Did some shopping and sightseeing. Saw performers do a tall pole climbing and spinning act. Very suspenseful. Flamingos were beautiful. Didn't do an excursion.
Did excursion Chankanaab day pass to park. Saw great sea lion show and mockup of ruins. Didn't swim. A little confusing as to what we could do. Free unlimited lunch and drinks. Waiters very attentive.
Had luggage carried off by staff. My suitcase tag must have come off (even though I stapled it on)so it went to lost bag area. No problem finding it). Staff at dock helped to get a van to take us to airport. Very efficient.
