Review summary

I had a great trip and felt as safe as I would anywhere in public during this pandemic. I feel like the staff and crews lined carried out their protocols as best as humanly possible in my experience, but I truly feel that if you do not understand any travel right now and always exposes one to risks and if you are at high risk for complications, perhaps now is not the time to travel

Embarkation

Easiest embarkation ever - again, It helps if you have all of your documents prepared and ready to be checked. I still think there should be fast lines everywhere for people that have their poop in a group.

Food and Dining

I enjoyed the food and consider myself a bit of a picky eater. There were always healthier options available which is one reason I had been displeased with other lines. Specialty restaurants excellent- Jamie’s and Wonderland were great and the service in each was awesome

Onboard Activities

So much to do! I particularly loved the Solarium. We tried the zip lines, slides, etc - all except rock climbing

The shows were of excellent quality and performers were great. The complaint I would have is the lack of times - everything seemed only available late for vaccinated guests and hard to get reservations. Also, several things were cancelled- diving show due to weather conditions (totally understandable! But rescheduled during times at Perfect Day). We waited all week for the adult comedy show we reserved, and it had to be canceled due to a conflict with the rescheduling of the Hairspray production. I do understand that things are very difficult right now and this is a small issue.

Service and Staff

This was one of the best ship staff I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The service was on point, friendly and super attentive. I cannot say enough about how hard this crew worked to provide excellent service in a challenging environment

Ship Quality

I personally felt the ship was super clean and there was a large focus on washing hands and wearing masks. It is almost impossible and unfair to task crew with policing what should be grown adults fully understanding their job is to adhere to the protocols. But unfortunately there are tons of people that don’t seem to understand this is a requirement to cruise, like it or not. The layout of the ship is easy to navigate and although immense, it was pretty quick to figure our way around

Clean, clean and really clean - beds comfortable, plenty of hangers and balcony was spacious enough to spend time there comfortably
