A really beautiful ship and perfect introduction to many cities in Europe.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We embarked in Rome and did not realize that we had joined mid-sail. The initial embarkation was in Barcelona, so we were let down by not having a sail away party for our first ever cruise

We had a boat tour planned, but it rained that day so we took a bus tour to an old bull ring and then the cathedral. The bull ring wasn't very interesting, and there was a stop at a pearl factory that was a sales pitch. The cathedral was very beautiful. I wish the tour included more of the city and surrounding area. The stop at the pearl shop and bull ring was a waste of time.

Marseille (Provence), France

We took a tour to Provence to St Remy, Le Baux de Provence, and Carrières de Lumières. Absolutely amazing excursion. Highly recommend. Wowed by everything! Experiencing an art installation at Carrières de Lumières (inside the caverns of an ancient limestone mine), surrounded by images and engulfed in music was an experience I'll never forget.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

We were only here to embark and disembark.

Naples, Italy

We booked a combo excursion with a half-day at Capri and a half day at Pompeii. It was a great introduction, but both places need a lot more time to fully explore. We plan to go back to both.

Barcelona, Spain

We explored on our own and wish we had a guide. We didn't have a plan and ended up not getting the most out of our stop here.

La Spezia, Italy

Explored Cinque Terrra by train. Such a beautiful place!
