Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and service in dining room was excellent! Drink package is too expensive!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Our kids and grandkids enjoyed all the activities.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
We have been on several cruises before this one and never made reservations in advance for the entertainment. We tried on the first day to get into the shows and could not get into any of them. This is so disappointing. You would think on a ship this large with 6000 passengers they would offer the shows daily to accommodate more people. This ship is designed mostly for young adults and children which is great. But they need to consider all the adults on board as well. We heard several others on the ship who had the same happen to them.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Some of the kids programs were difficult to get into also.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room staff was always excellent! Our room stewards slipped up some but was still always friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Main complaint is that the casino was next to dining room 4 and you had to go thru smoke every time you went to the dining room. Other complaint is that there were many times you had a long wait for an elevator. With 17 floors and 6000 passengers they need a few more elevators. Adult only area is great, great layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was very nice. No complaints. Bed was comfortable and plenty of storage for us.

Ship tip

Make entertainment reservations in advance. Ship is geared more to young people. We would prefer a smaller ship since we did not use most of what the ship had to offer.

There is so much info out there explaining the how things work on the larger ships. RCCL’s web site YouTube, Social Media sites, etc.... What prep did you do?

If you did any research or listened to Royal they preach getting reservations online well before your cruise. I booked two months out and got all my shows.

You have the option to pre-book shows on Oasis and Quantum class ships. That way you get to see the shows you want.
