Review summary

One week is nowhere near enough time to fully enjoy the Symphony experience. Early starts and late nights soon take their toll as you try and pack everything in. Plan each day carefully otherwise you will run out of time and miss alot of the things you really wanted to see and do.........which unfortunately will happen anyway to a certain extent.

The Symphony experience would be nothing if it wasn't for the incredible hard work, care and attention that every single member of staff shows on a daily basis, even if they are having a bad day themselves.

Very clean with an incredibly comfortable bed that could sometimes be difficult to get out of in the mornings.

We left the ship too late to do anything exciting. The staff at the tourist information desk where the shuttle bus dropped us were very unhelpful and told us not to go anywhere because we wouldn't make it back to the ship in time. We ended up taking a mini road train around the town, which turned out to be quite nice.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy Did not visit port

We were so exhausted by this time, so we decided to stay on board and enjoy the ship. Which was really nice because everyone else had got off for the day so the Solarium was like heaven.

Naples, Italy

Have a plan.........There are a lot of locals when you arrive at this port trying to sell you excursions. We went to Capri by ourselves, it was amazing. But go early and give yourself plenty of time because there are very long queues for everything and the day will just fly by.

A very early start and a very sad experience.

Slacks and button up is fine in most places.

@Lisa... Depends on what dinner your going to? If you download the Royal Caribbean app it tells all the details for every resturaunt... times, any cost, dress code, etc. A good basic for dinner is nice shorts and polo or button up for MDR... and as dressy as you want. Some people go all out on formal night, but its not my thing, so Ill wear slacks and a button up shirt. I dont get into suit and tie on vacation. Lol
