Review summary

This was a very relaxing cruise to some great eastern and southern caribbean islands. We found this itinerary very convenient since it was roundtrip out of Ft. Lauderdale so we did not have to deal with flights and a hotel room in Puerto Rico. The ship is slightly older and did not offer some of the amenities/activities that other ships have such as a pizza trattoria by the pool. However, the ports of call were great, the food was wonderful in the dining room and restaurants, the shows were great, and the ship staff was very friendly.

Ports of call

St. George's, Grenada

They have the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. The water was very clean, clear, and flat. There are many people selling their wares on Grand Anse. There is supposed to be another beach that is much quieter.
Don't Miss: Grand Anse beach

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We took a taxi to Coral World where we had a great time as a family. We also took the skytram up the mountain and watched the bird show in the shops - very good- and hiked the small trails at the top.
Don't Miss: The bird show in the shops

Fort-De-France, Martinique

We visited the main park and there seemed to be quite a bit of drug use going on. There are some nice sculptures in the park and the library is a beautiful building.
Don't Miss: Beautiful library beside the park

We did not arrange a tour and it was market day down by the ports so it was very crowded, hot and dirty. Arrange a tour if you want to see anything.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Very relaxing beach.

Castries, St. Lucia

We arranged a private tour and saw the entire island - waterfalls, volcano, pitons, banana plantation, coastline, and various cities.
Don't Miss: volcano and waterfall
