Review summary

We really didn't know what to expect. We were first time cruisers along with a group of 4 others that had cruised several times. We all had a wonderful time and we heard comments from them that this "Princess Cruise was the best of all".

Embarkation

Smooth for first time cruisers...

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
These were terrific. Wait staff were efficient and above all, friendly and helpful. Food was wonderful and a huge variety of choices.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools were very nice, particularly "The Sanctuary" pool. Nice and quiet for adults.

Entertainment

Everything we attended were first class.

Service and Staff

Exceeded our expectations.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The size and location of our room was great. Comfortable but our room did have a musty smell to it.

Ship tip

Get involved and study a layout of the ship before boarding if possible. Easy to get lost....

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Ketchikan, Alaska

For the 1st port of call, thought it was boring and not much there.... scenic but mostly "jewelry and other merchandise shops"....

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

5 out of 5
Did not do the excursion due to short timing of it.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful. Clean and lots to do.

Skagway, Alaska

Beautiful. Clean and lots to do.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
The only disappointment was the short time in port. Arrived there around 7:00 PM and departed 11:30 PM. Our suggestion might be to make Victoria the first port of call as it would set the "tone" for the whole experience.

Great review. FYI the stop in Victoria is to avoid paying US Taxes, so most ships stop there for only a few hours. I think it’s called the Jonas Act
