Really loved the fresh and new Sky Princess. Love hearing them play the love boat theme on the horn as we leave the ports.

Beautifully decorated and much more seating space than other Princess ships with more leg room than cramped seating that there is with half the seating on other ships to get into and sit comfortably.

Pool areas were inviting and enjoyable with many available spots to soak up the sunshine and fresh. Question and answer session with Captain Tuvo fun, enjoyable and informative. Many quiet spots for relaxing. Theater shows were awesome and entertaining. Plenty of trivia and game shows. Collecting charms during the cruise was fun although a challenge at times.

The stage shows were amazing, loved spending an hour each evening watching the theater entertainment including stage shows, comedians, singers, and magicians. The crew show at the end of the second leg of our cruise was a refreshing and delightful return to previous crew talent shows that we’ve enjoyed on past Princess Cruises.

Our waiters were excellent from our assigned waiters in the traditional dining room to the waiters throughout the ship at bars, International Cafe, lunch venues and breakfast dining room.

The Sky Princess is a beautiful, sparkling and amazing ship. I loved the decorations in the piazza and also the paintings in the stairwells. Very attractive furniture in the cabins and in the public areas. Seating in the bar areas was rather deep requiring a pillow behind your back for your feet to reach the floor even for someone like myself with long legs.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were upgraded to an advanced balcony for a reasonable price. It was beautifully decorated and roomy. We found that there was less storage available in a balcony cabin than in the usual inside cabins we inhabit but it worked out with a bit more planning. Balcony was good sized and enjoyable to sit on but discovered that it was as peaceful as expected when others around us came out and were somewhat noisy at times
Ship tip
Personally I don’t like coffee but have been able to benefit from a coffee card by enjoying tea fusions on previous Princess Cruises. I was very disappointed that tea fusions weren’t available on the Sky Princess so didn’t really get much benefit from my coffee card since only options besides coffee were hot chocolate or hot teas. Not the sort of beverages typically enjoyed often during a Caribbean cruise. I was able to get cups of ice to make plain iced tea and was able at times to get frozen hot chocolate.
