Splendor of the Seas offered us a luxurious vacation on a beautiful ship with superb service!
The lounge chair issue needs to be addressed since the rules state no lounge saving and this is never enforced. I got up one morning at 6:15 am to see if I could finally get a lounge partially undercover and by that time all of the lounges had been saved with books, beach bags, etc. That was ridiculous! Unlimited laundry service was such a wonderful perk!

Food in main dining room was presented nicely but the side dishes were barely warm. Food in specialty restaurants, especially Pacific Rim was hot and well presented. Food at buffet which should have been hot, like oatmeal, was luke warm. I believe the quality of the steaks were not prime but choice meat. The best desserts were the ones at Tea Time ie cherries jubilee, strudel, brownies etc. The restaurants should offer some basic desserts.

Activities on ship were well organized and enjoyable ie putting contests, dice rolls etc.
Entertainment

Stage shows, especially those with staff where excellent. Very talented and great to listen to.
The music was great and Gino's piano playing and name that tune were lots of fun!

Ship is beautiful and all of the areas, especially the restrooms were very well maintained.

Loved the extra room in the cabin and the plentiful storage space. The cabin was well maintained by Maria. Staff was always welcoming and cheerful!
