Review summary

I would do it all over again anytime. So much to see and do. Scenery is beyond breathtaking. The ship and cruise line are superb.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Extemely smooth embarkation, all done on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great food, great service. wish I would have gone to the specialty restaurants more, but that was my fault.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
great variety, active and restful activities. Lots of opportunities to win "Regent Points" to get goodies at the end. Even being coerced by others to do karakoe wasn't too bad. Staff running it were very supportive

Entertainment

5 out of 5
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! And, very friendly and engaged with all the passengers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
No complaints at all.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I'll make this excellent even though we did have some Novovirus on board. That actually only further showed the dedication of the staff and crew to make things more sanitary

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice size, I don't knw where two people would put all their clothes since I took up all the hangers and drawers by myself. Yes, things were a little 'tired' but it's going in for complete refurbishment in a month, so it's not fair to say anything bad.

Ship tip

If you are single, or alone, you MUST check out the Solo and Social Travellers group.

Ports of call

Callao (Lima), Peru

Arrived a couple days early to be able to see the city. Wasn't actually part of what I would consider the cruise

Pisco, Peru

Very enlightening. Did not know there was that much sand!

Matarani, Peru Did not visit port

Iquique, Chile

Very interesting and had good views of the city too. "Lunch" did leave something to be desired. Also - the trek down to where the tables were set up was VERY difficult for anywone with mobility issues.

Valparaiso (Santiago), Chile Did not visit port

I was invited to a Bridge Tour!!!

Puerto Montt, Chile

Could have been in Switzerland! Breathtaking scenery. Some people where whining about how far away it was from the port. Really? Horrible seas - have to really commend the crew for how they cared for everyone on the tenders.

Puerto Chacabuco, Chile

Even if they are at shorter height here, it still is cool to say "I crossed the Andes".

Punta Arenas, Chile

Rainy, Rainy day.. The Estancia we went too went out of their way to make it a memorable stop. Great lamb!

Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina

I was just too exhausted from the penguins.

More rain. , but the tour guide and bus driver tried to stop us where we could use an overhang. Did eventually stop and the visit to the winery and the tango show were great.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Beuatiful city, tour hit a lot of the high points. I did NOT sing "don't cry for me Argentina" at Eva Peron's tomb, but I did hum it very softly. The Tigre delta cruise a lunch were fantastic.
